Roberts writes that "Beck has made millions spewing such incendiary language, but in the process he is corrupting the very essence of democracy.

Cokie Robets has lived a life of slanted reporting for her entire career. All this is gradually coming to an end as the public becomes more aware through alternative outlets. She eventually will have no audience to discuss her nonsense.

Beck a terrorist?...is that how we now define "Terrorist?" anonymous March 24 2010, 15:52:10 UTC
Was Benjamin Franklin a terrorist?
Was Thomas Paine a terrorist?
Were John Adams, Thomas Jefferson, James Madison and George Washington terrorist?

Perhaps they were terrorists to those who were not Patriots. Perhaps to those who were against Life, Liberty and the Pursuit (not Handout) of Happiness.

Odd that the left is afraid of Beck. But I do see the danger of Beck to them. The left has good reason to keep the masses deceived into thinking that the debate is too confusing for them to understand. After all, doesn't government know best? Isn't the purpose of government to take care of them and provide for all their needs? Paternal security for nothing in return -- well, except for their vote. So, by having those, like Beck, who can actually teach the masses the truth about current events is,in fact,dangerous...to the left. But calling him a "terrorist" still seems to be a bit extreme.

I actually shared this bit because I have not heard anything from Roberts in a long time, and she chose to make such a provocative statement in the same breath as criticizing Beck for what he says.

Personally I think Beck's show has very little informational value, but it is very entertaining.
