I was cautious about getting on LJ today. I've been depressed all day about the results of prop 8.

...but I hafta wait until after work. Thus I'll be voting at about 7-ish.

Afterwards, I'm going to Brits to watch the results and yell at the TV (pint in hand) with the pub's owners. Anyone else wanna join me?

If you feel that a "No" vote on Prop 8 condones being gay, and if you just can't reconcile that to your religious beliefs, consider this... Just don't vote on it at all. You don't have to vote on the Prop if you don't want to do so.

Please understand this... a vote for Prop 8 is a vote to take away the rights of a segment of our population to marry ( Read more... )

I took down half of a rotting tree in my backyard with a wee axe. There is NO WAY I can muster the energy to chop this thing into manageable pieces using samesaid axe!
