So, we were supposed to settle on the new house today.

And we would have, were it not for that meddling underwriter (and their dog, too!).

You see, our original underwriter went on vacation. But they seem to have terrible handwriting, as the replacement underwriter couldn't read most of it. As a result, when we came to closing, it turned out
