36 (building a building)

[If you're in Olivine, you might catch Minnie sitting near the Lighthouse, watching the waves go back and forth in the ocean. Her Pidgeot Donald rests his large head in her lap while she pets him. She appears to be thinking, and after a while, she picks up the Pokegear, turning it onto the video.]

Hello, everyone. I hope you're all having a good day.

When I woke up this morning and checked the date, I realized something... I've been here for one whole year. I still remember arriving here during a dreadful storm, and assuming everything was a dream. But I made new friends who helped me see that this was all real. So much has happened during this year...

I've learned so much about others, and about myself. I've seen what those with darkness in their hearts are capable of, and the true power of friendship defeating it. I've watched love blossom in the sweetest of ways, and families forged stronger than spells. This world has slowly but surely turned into a place I want to protect, and  feel as if my heart must have grown bigger, to fit all the wonderful people I've met inside it. I can only hope that if I am here another year, I have made more friends, helped more people, and see the last of the darkness fall. This place is beautiful, and I would not change being here if I could.

[Smiling and satisfied, she turns the Pokegear off... except, oops, she only turned off the video, the Voice is still on. She sighs sadly.]

... And yet... this place will never be home for me... while a queen is without her king.

[and then, like any good disney character, she sings to try and feel better.]

Early each day to the steps of Saint Paul's
The little old bird woman comes
In her own special way to the people she call,
"Come, buy my bags full of crumbs;
Come feed the little birds,
Show them you care
And you'll be glad if you do
Their young ones are hungry
Their nests are so bare
All it takes is tuppence from you
Feed the birds, tuppence a bag
Tuppence, tuppence, tuppence a bag
Feed the birds," that's what she cries
While overhead, her birds fill the skies

All around the cathedral the saints and apostles
Look down as she sells her wares
Although you can't see it,
You know they are smiling
Each time someone shows that he cares

Though her words are simple and few
Listen, listen, she's calling to you
"Feed the birds, tuppence a bag
Tuppence, tuppence, tuppence a bag"
