i hate watching tv when there's a holiday coming up

i got my dad flowers. and i'm taking him out to lunch.

my dad wanted to go see lords of dogtown....sigh. it was good but kinda odd that my dad, out of all the things he could have wanted to do, had to pick seeing a movie
