[It's... it's safe to say that this entire episode has... pretty much shaken up Heather's expectations of what people like Minnie (that was to say, childhood cartoon characters) were like and capable of-- shaken them up like a snowglobe. It was so... bizarre and horrible to think of someone like Minnie going through something like that, something that Heather had always thought was something that only happened in the gritty reality, not in the saccharine sweetness of nostalgia. And maybe that was true... but it was happening here and the fact that Minnie had gotten through it-- that she was able to sit up in bed and say all those words after what she'd been put through-- well, it was just a little mind-bending for Heather. Not in a bad way. Just in an... enlightening way.]

We'll make him pay for what he did to you, Minnie.

Minnie, then. I don't think we've been formally introduced; my name is Leon. I'm a...[ what? a friend? he and Mickey aren't friends. ] ...an ally of your husband's. [ That works for now. He wonders if she'll even have any idea who he is; he doesn't think Mickey would actually talk about him at home, after all. ]

[Roxas kind of looks to the floor, sheepishly. It's really the first time he's talked to her in a while.]

[And she tries to run to him - which is not a good idea. instead, due to the weakness in her legs, she winds up... falling onto him.]

... Darkness and light go hand in hand. There will always be evil and hatred, in every world... but what is important is to keep the light of love and hope alive. We can always rise above that darkness, and stay strong.

This is true. I always want to believe in the goodness of people, though. I hate when darkness rears its ugly head for that reason.
