According to Today Tonight tonight, a particular family under pressure from rising interest rates has caused a family 'to go without luxury items and food for a couple of months.'

Can someone call CSIRO? Cos managing to go without food for a couple of months is a pretty awesome feat, and we should look into this. Bigtime.

I also heard a snippet that made me laugh
"next on Today Tonight - meet the woman who was told by her bank that she was dead"
that show is the tv equal of Thats Life magazine..

Ooo yes, it is!

But it's all okay - I've already given them shit in my novel, and I'm only at 6,000 words. Imagine how scathing I will have been when I've really gotten to know my characters and they're bashing the system!

If I ever met Naomi Robson in person, I'd find a way to accidentally kill her.

Hehe, you saw that at my house.

It reminds me of something about the drought on one of the current affairs show or the news: 'One farmer commits suicide every six days' Which made me wonder why someone doesn't stop him.
