so i was walking up to see !!! the second day and on the way there i was like, whoa! that's the guitarist for BRMC. so yeah said hi and that one of the best shows i've ever been to was theirs and let him go off to experience the festival. he was wearing all black! crazy. i was a bit disappointed w/ their show. i felt bad for them.

hahaha! beck remarked onstage that he was glad he wasn't a goth at coachella cos it was SO unbelieveably hot - so he was going to put off being goth until next year. ;)

i almost wore black capris and this black shirt on saturday, but then all my friends were like "what are you thinking?!" so i listened to them and changed my clothes - luckily!! thank goodness for friends because i would have ROASTED out there.

by the way, i'm in love with robert (the poofy brown-haired guitarist of brmc) and i felt really embarassed that they were embarassed because their set turned into a total mess. whoever that sound guy was must've gotten an earful when they were done playing. i stuck it out though and stayed for their whole set, hoping/wishing/thinking it might get better.. but it never did. i ended up seeing them on monday night in l.a. anyway, so that redeemed them of their disappointing first show for me.

yeah i was there the whole time as well and i wanted to go up to everyone and say "dude, they're so good! they're not like this at all!" but yeah, i felt bad.
