I had $200 and all of my wallet's contents stolen today. Also, my makeup and all the little things Tonya gave me(a couple of things from Claire's, a candy cane, & a free hair cut at Fantastic Sam's ( Read more... )

no matter how many times someone says it could have been worse or maybe they needed the money more, it's still not going to feel good. and it's still not excusable. i hate how you can't go to fucking school anymore and not trust your own classmates. this happened to me twice last year and however, both times i didn't get that much stolen from me but nothing was done about the situation. i even knew the girls who stole from my friend and i (they needed money for heroin) and one of them even admitted to doing it. i still never got my money back and i think truthfully my principal pocketed it for himself. regardless, this has nothing to do with me. i always tend to go way off subject. i just hope that you get your money back even though it's pretty unlikely that you will. and hopefully your school looks into this and choses to aware their students of the consequences of such actions. a lot of times the person won't even get a severe enough punishment to where they will keep repeating the same acts. people fucking suck, end of story.

I found out this morning that the girl was caught, apparently the assistant principal figured it out and when he confronted her she confessed. I'll probably never find out who did it, but what I do know is that she is suspended and I'm going to get my money back. Apparently I'm probably not getting back my ids, the MAC makeup I splurged on, or anything else she took.
I'm considering pressing charges. My mom called the police department last night while I was at work to see what they could do and they said I should charge the girl if I found out who she was.

I underestimated the school; after Mr. Rahe gave me the speech about how I was lucky because at least I wasn't pregnant I was pretty sure nothing was going to get done about it.

P.S. The money she needed more then me-apparently she gave half of it to her friends who spent it at Media Play.

Hey, the exact same thing happened to me. Aside the fact that I'm a guy and it was my wallet and it was my car window they broke into and took my wallet (yes, I know I shouldn't have left it in the car). It really sucks trying to get your social security card back, there is a place on Reading Rd. that issues them, but in order to get one you need ID (ha driver's license is stolen, same here) so they can also use birth certificate? NO! Assholes say they can be reproduced to easily or some shit, so in advance I am telling you to go to your counselor and get a transcript stamped and signed (must have some kind of school seal! or they won't accept that either). All in all they will give you a piece of paper saying that your social security number is in-fact yours and then you go get a replacement license. Which costs like $20 (doubled from like 5 months ago prices). Then if the social security place didn't give you your actually card just go back with your driver's license and there you go. Yes, complicated isn't it. It's been like 3 ( ... )

Well, I did all of this before I read your comment. I used a speeding ticket to verify my identity. It pays to do crime.
