I was at your house in Oxford, we were rolling down a hill. & then we were at your house smoking weed with Dave & your mom. (hahaha) & your mom offered me $30 for hanging out with you & she made me this really cool yellow tote bag... I know, most bizzarre dream ever. I seriously woke up & laughed.
i have a different problem. i am skinny enough to fit in those kind of jeans but i am missing an ass, so even skinny pants look baggy in that area and it just looks WEIRD. i try to wear longer shirts everyday to cover up my butt entirely. haha.
Becky, you actually popped into my head when I was writing this.
I have problems finding good jeans because with the super low waists of today I just can't get my butt all the way in. So I'll make you a deal, you can have some of my butt. I probably still won't be able to wear skinny pants, but oh well. I've seen girls my size and beyond wear them, but I think they were named skinny jeans for a reason and they just don't do any good for anyone that doesn't have slim legs from top to bottom. I hate them because I can't wear them, but even more so because they make me (and I'm sure a ton of other women) feel disproportionate for having thighs and an ass. I guess I'm stuck with bootcut and that's fine, but man- I'm tired of seeing skinny jeans. haha
& I like long shirts too, but because I have a shorter torso and it balances me out.
i am awful at picking out the right kind of pants. i don't even know where to go. i like long jeans but i always get them so long i rip up the bottom of them and they get all raggy. i like them not very tight so that i can't breathe, so then they always look kind of baggy on me. i like them dark denim but they always fade wack. and i always get holes in the butt and knees. i tend to drop fifty on a pair of jeans thinking i will look cool in my gaps but i would probably look the same in any other brand. what kind do you get? i need a better pair of jeans. actually, all of the ones i wear are at least one year old so they should probably get retired soon. i need jean picking out class 101.
I was a Gap jeans only girls for years, and then I realized it was silly. I recommend 1) Levi Strauss & 2) Calvin Klein. I don't know how well that'll go since we have very different body types, but then again, we've both been wearing Gap (the long and lean kind is actually one of my favs, just in a size 8), so check them out. My biggest thing though is to go to Value City before going somewhere else. Seriously, I just bought three pairs of jeans (Gap, Levi & Klein...haha) for the price of one. I always used to skip a store like that because I didn't think they would have anything I wanted, but I was wrong. They're the exact same thing, so why not pay $15 instead of $60?
