Senate House Library

Was anyone aware that Senate House Library may have to close in the future? I hope to God not, that was a great place to borrow books when I was an undergrad at UCL.

it has been under threats for a few years now , the topic to most meeting.

not looking very good at the moment..such an amazing place would be a tragedy

Tragedy is the right word - methinks they want the space!

not just that university of london is not really as it was when senate house was thriving now most universities within UL got their own libraries so it's a money issue as senate house lives from getting money from the differente universities part of it...

Yes, you are right, I think that most Uni's would like to keep the money for themselves, its just terrible that they want to give up on it. I'm doing my Masters at City, thank God I (my workplace) have got a business account with the BL because I always have trouble borrowing from City University Library.
