Ross is worth too much money to the Beeb, I doubt they'll let him go. The show still gets very high ratings, and he'd be snapped up quickly by any one of several other stations.

I think you are right..although Ross has had his ups and downs in his presenting career, like his brother Paul. I just think his BBC One show has got a little too formulaic and its time to shake things up a bit - now could be a good time!

It's not just the one show that he does for them, though. That contract is huge and detailed and complicated, I'd imagine, though a change to the Beeb1 show may be good.

Personally, I'd like to see Brand fade into obscurity for ever, but I think he's about the least amusing person alive.

I remember reading a piece a couple of years ago about the revival of goth style, and they suggested to the singer from All About Eve that Russell Brand was at least 90% goth. She replied something like "Don't you mean 90% twat?"

My opinion on these two is split. With Brand, it's what I expect from him, and amusing as his pronouncement to an American audience was, that we wouldn't have trusted George Dubya with a pair of scissors, let alone a country, he's still just an irritating little tit who I would not miss if I never heard of him again.

Wossy on the other hand, I actually like. He is incredibly egocentric and his humour does sometimes cut close to the bone, but basically I like the guy, and more than anything I feel disappointed in him (which, as I'm not his Mum, is an odd thing to feel). He was right out of order, but has at least had the decency to deliver a personal apology. It's no excuse, but it's something.

You're probably right about his TV show format getting a bit tired, but I would miss his radio show on Saturday mornings.

Yes..and his Film 2008 show is not bad either. But his Fri show is just old. And when he gets smutty with the ladies is a bit 'eww'.

I try watching Film whenever I can as he seems to have a similar taste to mine. Missed this week's show, though. What did he make of Ghost Town? He's Gervais' buddy so it was probably favourable but from the trailer, it looks awful.

And if Ricky Bloody Gervais is on his show one more time, I'll stop watching.
Yeah, it's getting tired but now and then there's a gem, like the one a few years ago with James Brown and Joss Stone. I liked Joss Stone then, she's got a great voice but she was completely lost on stage next to JB who had more Soul in his little finger than she in her whole body.

Back to the issue at hand, I'm with Malk, I'm really disappointed in Woss but the actual person responsible was the controller who let the thing through. The show was pre-recorded, there was no reason why it couldn't have been cut.

Restaurant finale tonight!

He gave Ghost Town quite a favourable review - to be fair some of the other reviewers have given it the thumbs up as well.

Yes, how many times has Ricky Gervais been on his show? It's getting quite boring now...

I'm looking forward to the Restaurant tonight - I am actually warming towards the boys though, I don't like the girl in it, you feel like she is all smile, but completely cold..
