It annoys me how people blatantly lie to get interviews and jobs.  Do you think that once you're hired, we'll just look over the fact that you can't type 35 wpm?  That we'll just be so overcome by your charm that we won't care that you refuse to work on Mondays?

I also don't like when people pretend like they are really really interested in a job, ( Read more... )

I don't know if it is karma, but it is courtesy. I have never done that, and in a small town like Madison, I don't think that that is a very good idea at all!!

I've never done it, but someone quit UBS last week by not showing up one day! She called eventually and said she wasn't coming in because she was quitting. lol. A++++ way to get fab references, I can tell you that. oh man.

The plan is to move in June. Might be August (due to reasons of $$$) but the plan is June. Hope things are good with you too! Are they? ;-)

there have been a couple of times when, as a result of unforseen cirucumstances i couldn't make it to interviews and once i didn't have the correct number for the person i was supposed to be interviewing with and so i couldn't get ahold of her to tell her i wasn't coming. but i tried.
