Got the serials from the GPS or the camcorder? Tried checking with the police and/or local pawn shops? Maybe search on eBay for someone selling more than one of the kinds of stolen things at once even? (As in, one of that model GPS, one of that camcorder, amd maybe one cap like that one?)

We did report the theft to the authorities, and gave them the serial numbers, but we really couldn't do much else. We didn't have internet access all that week, we couldn't get back down to Minneapolis to check the pawn shops, and I didn't really think to check ebay.
