Who's clearly under the influence of the event

[He hasn't really noticed the PCD yet. But he eventually moves from a defensive posture (or some attempt at one), to staring dubiously at his changed form.]

Most anything will do, but it is not possessing you. For the moment, it is you. It should only be temporary.

[Does eventually realize that the voice isn't coming from his body, but finding the PCD requires grabbing it from a dragon's head; it switches back to video in the process, showing a mouthful of sharp teeth, then a hand, then Ashton turning to yell at the dragon.]

Don't eat the voice, it probably won't like it either! [Finally remembering the PCD, turning it over in his hands.] ...Oh- hello? Hitsugaya?

This is something some spirits did, but it's not posession, as far as I can tell.

They're called the "Animus," and they cause all the strange things that happen in this place, though I'm pretty sure they didn't bring us here.

The world you have been pulled in knows these .. frequent transformations. This is one of them. The place has been underwater for a few days, and will be for a few more days. Most of us have been given a new form so as not to drown.

Everything should go back to normal at the end of the week.
