I've managed to save around a quarter of the pyrewort crop - enough I think either to furnish the students' flooing needs for around a week or to make a decent-sized batch of the modified floo-stick powder

For the time being, the students must still pass between the safehouses. The battle is not yet joined, and we may still have time to seek out other sources. I propose that the Floo ration is cut by one-third and a small reserve of the modified powder may be created. I myself will forgo one of the devices. Perhaps an alternative could also be sought. We have used Patronus communication in the past; might we not supplement our limited Floo capabilities in this fashion?
