So to distract me from the agony of still waiting for my Pottermore email, I wrote this. Send help. Also, it seems like I’m incapable of writing anything without a soundtrack provided by Simon & Garfunkel at the moment lol. I’m not sure if this is a bad thing or not.

I've actually warmed up to him considerably over the six episodes (my reticence is probably based in not being overly fond of Dominic West) and with little moments like this I could be fully persuaded, I think!

It was his friendship with Lix (that scene in episode 5, which was the inspiration behind this) that won me over completely. She brings him down to Earth a bit, and I think Hector finds it easier to stomach from her than Freddie.

You capture their voices perfectly. Oh, it's just effortless reading here because everything about this is just so delightfully in character. I can SEE it as a scene from the show. Glorious. Just glorious. I adore Lix and all her complexity. I would love to see more!
