Visions Permissions

Okay, so! Miku can see visions of the past. How does this work? ...Well, it's easier if I explain it like this:
Say Character A has an item very important to them. If Miku touches that item, she may see a vision relating to the person who owned it. Perhaps Character A had a room they always stayed in--Miku might see a vision if she walks into that room. Character A might just happen to make physical contact with Miku; she might see a vision then too. Basically, if she touches your character or touches/walks by/whatever something that greatly relates to your character, she may see a vision.
What I want to know is, can Miku see a vision relating to your character's past?
If you're okay with this, please comment and tell me what exactly Miku would see! The visions are usually not very long, are in black and white, and are generally of an unpleasant nature, if it helps to know.
