Greetings! Wondering if any of you can help with this: a friend of mine at Boston magazine is working on a freelance piece about how to make the most of your undergraduate experience, and she needs to talk to some students that go to out-of-state schools that are very active in extracurriculars/student activities. If you have any friends that meet ( Read more... )

he's in the drum line, he's part of the band fraternity, and i think he works for public safety there. maybe more, he's oe of those kids who generally can't ever have enough on his plate (but maybe it just seems that way to me 'cause i'm lazy as fuck)

I wish i could help ;)

But on a slightly, though hardly, side note - I did my first article shoot!
It was for an online magazine... which is a strange concept but my friend works for them and had an interview and I got to be her camera man!
I am even more into the idea of photojournalism being what i want now...

Hi- I noticed you added me to your friends list. I haven't added you back because I wasn't sure who you were or how you found my journal or if you're a wackjob or not- ha. We do have missjessy as a common friend so I'm guessing that's how you found me?

Sorry I can't help with your friend's research. I went to 2 out of state schools (after politely being asked not to come back to the first one) but my friends and I laughed at the people involved in activities, and our only extracurricular was drinking. :)

Hello there! I did find you through missjessyjessy's list; one day I was just roaming through my friends' friends lists, and I stumbled upon your entry about your hospitalization. I was so touched by it -- I admire how you write so openly, and beautifully, about personal issues and how much care you put into presenting your thoughts. Not to echo everyone else that comments in your journal, but once I read that first entry, I read some others, and I think your sense of humor, your courageousness, and your candor are all beautiful. I look forward to reading whatever you have to say -- that's why I added you ( ... )

TURTLES! woooot! haha
Thanks for all the nice things you said about my journal and my writing. It's always cool to start your day off by hearing/reading compliments! Well, now that I know who you are (and I know your status as a wackjob, hehe) I will add you back. Now you'll be able to read the REAL DIRT on me! haha
