Soupy Macaronie and Cheese is defiantly undelicious.
Tuesdays are interesting for me, because I don't have class until 6pm, which is Photography, which I have from 6 to 9. Photography, by the way, will be marvelous. The darkroom is hardcore, the class isn't that big, the teacher seems cool (besides the digital thing...), and I get a locker!! Oh, happy days.
Anyway, I mostly took advantage of today's schedule by sleeping later than usual and resting my foot. There's two things wrong with what I just wrote, one being that "sleeping later than usual" was sleeping until 10, which is horrible. What happened to the days that I woke up at 1pm? Are they gone forever?? I'll try my darnest to make sure that they are not!!
The other flaw with the above is the whole "rest my foot" shindig. For those of you who do not know, my foot has decided to rebel against the rest of my body and punish me for one reason or another. It started last Wednesday, when I was walking around and felt that I was getting a small foot cramp. Little did I know that within the hour, I'd be ____ <--this close to crying in a crowded Crossgates mall because it was so painful to walk. That wasn't fun. Especially since I had to keep on walking in order to catch the bus and to get back to my dorm. Such pain. Getting back to my dorm quad was never so sweet.
So I still thought it was a cramp then. Perhaps the worst foot cramp of my life, but a cramp none the less. After a while it came to me that my mom's foot had hurt alot just before her doctors discovered that she had an extra foot bone in her arch. Of course, this extra bone is hereditary and my arch was the centeral location of the pain. Luckily, I had a doctor's appointment for Friday for something unrelated, so I had my foot checked out then. My doctor said that the cause of my pain was either the extra foot bone, or a badly inflamed muscle. Brandon took me to have an Xray done on my foot, and I should be getting the results today.
So, as one would assume, the more I walk on my foot, the more it hurts. But resting only delays the pain for a number of hours. Nevertheless, I do need to rest, because walking around is so absolutely tiring to me now. When I don't use my crutches OF DOOM, which is most of the time due to this ice, stairy, god forsaken campus, I have to walk on the toes and front part of that foot. After a number of days, that's caused my left leg and foot (the healthy ones) to work extra the amount that they're used to, and now they're tired. Strange muscles in my right leg have come into play as well, probably due to the fact that I'm walking so strangely now on that side. So those mystery muscles are soar now too.
It's really not too bad, but it really stinks not to be able to walk around easily, especially on this campus. I can't even imagine how difficult it would be for someone who needed to use crutches all of the time to get around here. When I used them here, I was slipping all around on the icy, slushy walkways, almost falling over numerous times because of the melted snow and ice on the floors inside, and having to carry my crutches more than using them to walk up all of the stairs. It really ended up hurting my foot more than resting it. Plus, those mofo crutches hurt my armpits and arms really badly.
Oh well, oh well.
Everything is well besides the whole right-foot-sucking thing. Tomorrow, Brandon and I will have been together for three years. I also received an amazing card from Ms. Ashley, which makes me smile like a dope every time I look at it.
Farewell, ladies and sirs.
May your right foots fare better than mine.
