so i had previously joined this LJ community that totally bashes Scene Kids purposely to let "scene" kids know that they are getting bashed...cause seriously...can anyone say the fucking KKK...literally hunting kids down to post them up on a community just to bash them...(ok so maybe the KKK reference was a little too harsh

Lol I totally post there. I hate the scene trend, it's like all the worst parts of the 80's, chewed up, swallowed, and regurgitated. I guess you consider yourself scene, but I personally think you're cute and a cool person.
There are so many snark communities like these, and I will be the first to admit I'm a member of a few (badeyebrows/makeup/mods), and do enjoy having others who feel the same about something I find really unattractive.
It's not cool when people personalize things, like outing you, but... Blah I'm not even gonna try to excuse it, it is pretty bitchy haha. To each their own I guess.

ok but something everyone doesn't understand is the hole "scene" thing for the most part its just a look.
idk i just think its sorta lame that people hate on something which in reality is just a mix of a bunch of different genre of styles.
like appearance wise im not like wooooooa scene kid but i mean i wear bandannas, bows, and outrageous extensions...but with that being said...
bandannas are just an accessory...ie jewelry, bows are just a hair accessory like a hair clip or headband, and with the extensions anyone who has extensions has outrageous extensions. i just think scene kids got a bad rep because of the OUTRAGEOUS ones...but its like that with any genre i suppose. i just really dislike not getting into communities because of my look but at the same time i suppose whatever fuck them.
either way, your pretty cool yourself!

Yeah I can definitely understand it from your side. But it's like you said, it's just a look. The community isn't (or shouldn't be, as far as I know) making fun of people themselves, but just being snarky about the accessories, tonssss of eyeliner and bad makeup, what we think is a bad choice in clothes, and poses. Some of the posts I've seen are personalized (like your's, which I agree is retarded, going through all the members and checking out their profiles to pinpoint scenekids in the community? So lame), and I've seen some people posting pictures of girls they know from their town/school, but for the most part (for me, and others I've seen at least) the posts are just compiled of pictures of scenekids we've come across on Myspace or Facebook or wherever
