Tantrum

I threw the most glorious temper tantrum when I got home last night. Haven't done that in a long time, and I feel much better now. Plus, my big pasta pot paid dearly for its insolence and will never dare to settle in the sink the wrong way again. I feel quite accomplished.

I once threw a spatula so hard it embedded itself into the drywall. The reason. I was flipping a hamburger patty and the patty broke...well it started to break. When shit like that happens, it isn't the patty or the spatula or the wall or the pasta pot, its everything else and said kitchenware is just at the wrong place at the wrong time. When I saw the spatula protruding from the wall, I busted out laughing and I felt much much better.

Yeah, I've been burning the candle at both ends lately. Life isn't bad, but I'm tired, I miss my hubby, and I was a little stressed from work.

Lol--so, I knew the damn thing was gonna fall when I put it there. I actually, out loud, alone, angrily ordered it to stay put. Because that helps. And it didn't make me look the slightest bit silly, either. Anywho, it flat out refused to stay put. And I'm Alpha in this house, dammit. There was much screaming and banging. And I scared poor Angus and had to comfort him afterwards. But after the crying and the yelling and the throwing, I felt much more at peace. And I'm not at all in a bad mood or stressed out today. I think I need to put the smack down on my kitchenware more often.

I threw a book through a closed window once because I couldn't find my keys. The book was fine. The window shattered. Then I had broken glass to clean up AND lost keys. And I had to climb through Holley bushes to find the book. So yeah, that worked out well for me. Stupid keys.

LOL! Being that it was you, I'm surprised you didn't cut yourself on the glass, too!

Humans do silly things when they're angry. I'm always highly amused by my tantrums the next day. I'm way too practical to actually do something destructive. But I do make quite a bit of noise.

I have a good friend who calmly took his game controller outside and smashed it with a sledgehammer. He showed that game, dammit.

And god knows you don't want a utensil uprising. That would be chaos.
