The housing market in Singapore is pretty horrible - worse than New York. There are hardly any studios or 1 bedroom apartments and if one does opens up, they ask for an outrageous amount of money for it. And some of these apartments are pretty small and dirty and horrible - shower-over-the-toilet kind of horrible. But I have to say, my housemates
