I'm -$2,000 but I feel great!

I feel so incredible right now.

I just wrote a check for $2,000.00 and have now put a huge dent in my college loans! My goal is to have them paid off completely by the end of the school year, before interest starts to accrue!

Man, can I just give you my account info on my school loans so you can do that for me? :D Lucky girl! I'm still paying on $13,000+ worth of loans. Good luck on your goal! ♥

My college screwed me over so bad, I was suppose to owe $7,500 at graduation, but because of tuition increases I am going to owe $12,000! Anyway, nearly all the money I earn or get (from birthdays, Christmas, random stuff like that) I have been sending off to it. So so far I have paid off about $2,500, with today being the HUGE day. I just got $1,000 from a scholarship and so I decided I didn't really NEED it right now, so I sent it away... :(.

I work four jobs, so I should be able to make a big dent. I'm also anticipating graduation and birthday money! :)

I know what you mean! My college is a private one, so it seemed like they were always raising tuition and other costs. I had $15,000 to pay back, but I finally got it down a bit. The interest is killer, though. I actually was having trouble paying each month, so I managed to get payments cut off for almost a year. They start again next month. :(

My money goes to cell phone bills and school loans. This was not my idea of growing up...Heheheh!

Yeah, mine is private too! I hate it..

INTEREST SUCKS! I really do not think there should be interest on education loans... this is why I'm trying to pay mine off now. I was looking around my apartment today for things to sell on eBay to earn some more money toward this debt.

I kind of view this as a game, how much money can I earn this month to pay off? and I always win! (In my freshman year I use to send $10 checks to pay off my loan...!)

I hope to marry rich...

that was most my summer job money. :(.

and now i'm poor again.

but i'm in less debt!
