It looks like Sunday I'll be driving to Hamiet Bluiett's home near St. Louis to try out a horn. With any luck I'll be purchasing a "Naked Lady" Conn bari from him and mounting my new cosmic chariot for the outer reaches of unseen space later that day.

Last night I dreamt that I had sex with one of Mom's sixty year old lady-friends and I got pregnant. But since I have no womb the baby was born immediately while I was at a party. The baby wasn't breathing at first and so I thought it was dead, but I carried it around for a couple minutes anyway until someone suggested I give it little baby CPR. ( Read more... )

I just got a cinema-obscura account. I'm supposed to be putting school back together this week and I really don't see this event helping that goal any. Maybe I'll get it done while I wait for everything to download. I still can't find a working version of In the Realms of the Unreal which I've fixated on but not enough to buy the damn thing.

I'm on the verge of getting MOTU's Digital Performer. That is way exciting. Also, I have a new crush on Glenn Branca. He's pretty much totally fantastic (get it?)

I'm working on my set right now. Hey, Mike, what time should I come over and where will I be?

Nathan just left. He'd hitchhiked up here from Decatur. I dropped him off at I-39 so he could try and hitch to Champaign by 4:30 to catch a bus. It was a fun night and I was glad to have him up here. It helps to have such good friends.

I watched Jean Cocteau's Beauty and the Beast last night until I passed out on my bed with all my clothes on. Interesting dreams. I need to finish it today, but I just want to sit around and listen to Ornette. Blah blah blah party tonight blah blah skipped the party last night. Blah boys blah blah blah girls. There it is.
