It describes at least one. Having not been here long, all I can do is describe this place in sweeping generalities.

I didn't know that at the time, when I thought to go there. But now that I know, I can avoid it. Geez, what is wrong with this place?

Haven't yet. Need to learn what I can first, analyze the situation, the materials, et cetera.

Yeah! You know? Taking one item and using alchemy to change it into another! Unless they don't have that in your world... Um, it uses a lot of chemistry and physics. Do you know about those?

I happen to know a lot about both, but alchemy is...archaic. And ended up with a lot of stories about turning things into gold and stones and elixers and all of that. Usually people end up mixing the idea with something more like magic. It's all vague and metaphysical and early science.
