*the sound of pacing*

So I gather that people just up and leave here? Just like that? I also gather it's not a choice that they make.

I mean, not that we'd all make that choice to leave if we could, but ( Read more... )

People leaving? Yeah, that happens a bit. Sometimes they come back; sometimes they don't. I've heard they just go back home when they leave, though.

Sounds just peachy for them. That's too random for my liking.

Probably a better idea than trying to set a new one up in this room. It doesn't need to be large...but quiet sounds like a good change.

Hey, why don't you help? We can both have awesome, spacious, quiet labs to do...lab...things...in.

Little more annoying than nosy people that won't leave your things along.

...Not that that ever really happened to me much, but it's the principle of the thing. You know.

Someone suggested a clinic. If people around here are as smart as I don't assume they are, it's probably been cleaned out (or cleaned up), but couldn't hurt as a starting point. Meet you there?

People do seem to disappear awful frequent, especially these days. Don't seem to be much pattern to it, either. Hard to say where they went, if they don't come back to tell.

Probably be able to set yourself up with a lab of sorts here, if you're good at improvisin'. Might be some folk around who'd be willin' to help with equipment, too.

Eh, I'm all right at improvising if I don't need specific items or ingredients, whatever. At this rate, I'm just looking for the basics. Like a...table. And a comfy swivel chair or something. Some tools, I've got something I need to crack open and look at.

Oh, well, if there ain't anythin' in the offices or the shops, you can requisition bits an' pieces from the Indigeo. Some things it won't give ya, but basics like that ain't likely to be a problem.

What sorts of tools d'you need? I still got mine from when I was pulled in here. Don't mind sharin' if I have anythin' might be useful.

Sounds fantastic. And as for tools, once again, basics. Screwdriver. Wire cutters. Voltmeter. Pliers. But if I can just requisition for it all, there's no need to part with yours. *laughs* You might never see them again! And if you got pulled along with your tools, then they probably mean a bit to you. Thanks, though. I just need to open up something of mine that isn't working. And there doesn't appear to be any...superficial damage. So it's got to be some underlying problem, probably someone messing around with it, or...well, I never got the chance to...really finish perfecting it...

There's a clinic, a bunch of assorted empty buildings and the Indiego which'll requisition you up a chemistry set, no sweat. I'd say you just got to pick a place and go for it.

Though when you do, you up for company? It's been a while since I hung out in a lab.

I can just ask for whatever I want and it'll be given to me? ...Maybe this place isn't nearly so bad after all. I'll have to go scouting out a good room, make sure nobody's already moved in.

Uh...sure, I...guess? I mean. Maybe. We'll see? ...You make it a habit to hang out in laboratories?

Good luck! Just as a head's up, Office number 226 is taken.

And yeah, actually. My Dad's got the whole genius scientist thing happening. It's a thing.
