Just got back from an amazing trip down south to Costa Rica - beautiful country with a very clear American-pop-cultural influence (undoubtedly a result of the number of American tourists who flock there every winter). It was quite odd seeing KFC and Taco Bell everywhere, and having locals speak to us in an American accent - proof of how America-

I was terrified! Mainly because i can't swim, haha. But it was awesome (even though i did fall into the water, lol)
