Way cool, what you've writ! I had determined I wouldn't be drawn in and I positively wasn't going to read this, even with your sweet name attached, nope, not gonna, even tho' I thoroughly enjoyed this movie and I love revisits. Well, dadblame good thing I have no self-discipline becos I would've missed this delicious treat!

magic has its own, particular allure, and he’s nothing if not that What a glorious line that coupled with his radio voice, searing, sizzling through your soul eye-f%&^#. You writ that compulsion, that quality which makes him vulnerable too, even though at the first glance it might feel like he has all the power. He doesn't, does he? Good read, I'm tellin' yal.

I'm certainly happy you had no self-discipline in this particular case, since it resulted in such a nice comment :-) Thank you very much, and no, I wouldn't say he has all the power, however it might seem. He's as fascinated by her as she is by him.

Oh this brings back memories!

I've always liked Bowies's music( and acting)but he's never really done it for me in the sex appeal department - until I saw him as the Goblin King!Unbelievably hot.
i really am enjoying your adult fairytales!

by the way florencia - what a gorgeous avatar - I've yet to get one of my own.

There is something about him as the Goblin King, I remember that I was quite enamored when I was younger and saw the movie for the very first time :-) Thank you for letting me know you enjoyed this!

Just want to ask anyone if they've seen the trailer for Snow White and the Huntsman? Looks...promising.

*raises hand* I have (I don't think anyone else reads the comments here, since it's my private journal). I'm curious, but a little wary, mostly because it's Kristen Stewart and Chris Hemsworth, and I'm not particularly fond of either of them. But Snow White in armour, that works for me!

Hopefully Charlize Theron will shine as the Wicked Queen. Did you know rumour has it Johnny Depp was in the cast line up as the Huntsman?

What a wasted opportunity................

By the way, did you ever see the Snow White version with Sigourney Weaver?

I think she'll be good as the Queen! And I didn't know Depp was in the cast line. I did hear that Viggo Mortensen was in talks for the role, though, which I would have liked even better ;-)

Yes, I think so, but I don't remember it too well, I have to admit, so it can't have made a big impression.

Viggo would have been terrific...Hemsworth is a bit young, in my opinion. Let's hope they don't try and 'Twilight' it for crying out loud.

I remember the Sigourney Weaver film because it was genuinely scary. I really wish they'd do more 'adult' fairy tales. Tim Burton should get on board!

I'm with you on the a bit young, certainly. And I suppose there's a risk they are going to do a "Twlight", but I do hope not, more adult fairy tales would be nice!
