...Then he notes the odd composition of the words. It's almost like verse, the way things are broken up, but it doesn't seem to be like any sort of poetry he's familiar with. No meter or rhyme pattern he can discern.
But there IS another pattern. And if it reads the way he thinks it does, it's a good suggestion. He decides to test it to see if he's right.]
That is quite the suggestion. But you have to remember, chaos Makes it hard to put such things aside. And there will always be a Sense of loss in times like this.

A couple of ink blots appear on the page. Not the thorough sort that usually strike out conversations. These are seemingly random, the kind that appear when someone is careless with their pen. The 'random' trail also oh-so-conveniently covers "Makes", "Sense" and "Will", among other words, getting rid of the more awkward and telling parts of his writing.

Don't be such as downer, sphere-friend. Think about it--if this place wants to do something to us, it's gonna do it regardless of what we say or write. That's obvious. Easy solution? Quit using the journals altogether.
[Stare stare stare. And lots of pentaps. She knows Reed can't mean what he's writing, and it's obvious he is putting it into some kind of code.
Unfortunately it is going to take her quite some time to decipher it because she has absolutely no experience with this kind of thing. But she'll be watching this entry very, very closely.]

There is merit to pondering and taking time, and there Is also worth in thinking. Writing right away our thoughts on Paper can lead to pain for others. But I do Not know where the balance is. I write of balance In between thought and writing. I will continue to watch These as well.
