I am back to normal, as I would assume of the lot of you. Not a moment too soon; would that we'd have had our full number on the watch these past few days. Some destructive creature was at play. Thankfully, its work appears to have ceased. though should you happen across a spike-shelled reptiAmong others, Spear's home in Section Three was razed.

'Tis real, and I bore witness with my own eye personally. A fiendish cross between a frog, a bull, and a turtle, though it stood- and talked- like a man, bearing a shell covered in wicked spikes.

I suppose that's good enough explanation for the state I found parts of my section in when it had quieted down.

Have the Watch found any sign of it, or has such a thing vanished for the time?

We've since not seen head nor tail of it. Last I'd heard it had simply fallen off one of the islands.
