I'm not sure at this point. I obviously want to be w/ Maria so I suppose we'll probably go through with the marriage. I would hope that our "marriage" can be an example of what a "gay marriage" would look like - two committed people together. It will just suck if I have to be referred to in legal situations as the husband!
So, apologies if i missed a post somewhere or something, but you two can still legally get married in Wisconsin? I thought you were legally a female now. Are the marriage laws different/contingent upon birth gender?
I thought when you applied for your marriage license they went by your driver's license which says I'm female, but actually the go by your birth certificate which says I'm male, and therefore we can be legally married.
The question becomes what does this mean when I have the surgery and can change my license. It's like that obnoxious Onion New Network piece I wrote about a while back...only fer real.
