College Decision Haiku

They say yes
You are accepted
Now to choose

Vermont chills
Maryland dazzles
Georgia calms

Costs lower
When you stay in state
Too near home

Go north then
My wandering boy
Study hard

Choosing a uni was so easy for me (Australia's best, the Australian National University, is in my hometown, so no moving for me!)

Do tell what you and ye progeny eventually settle on :)

Yup! In order of his favorites: GCSU, Berry, St. Mary's, UVM

Now we're just waiting to hear from Bennington (oy!)

Oy indeed. Is Bennington College still the most expensive college in the country, or has the king lost his crown? I know nothing of the other schools, but I can say I had a wonderful experience at UVM and would recommend it to anyone who could afford it (being out of state and all). If Xian has any questions about UVM, feel free to contact me. *slowly steps off UVM soapbox, then steps back up* Burlington is a wonderful tity (I have never been able to call it a city since it has only 40,00) and Sketch and I hope to call it home (again for me) someday in the near future. My aunt and uncle live there and my aunt was the head reference librarian at UVM for many years. I offer that info just in case Xian chooses UVM and needs some guidance from an adult in the know. *slowly but completely steps off UVM soapbox*
