The Boys Debut [includes pictures]
And I'm lovin' it. So far so good. Here's the 411 as I see it:
New Groups:
- MBLAQ (sounds like "my blank" ....yea, what's with the weird lettering? Are Koreans fascinated with fiddling with the English alphabet?) which basically stands for Music Boys Live in Absolute Quality....lmao. This one's got the big guy RAIN (Bi) backing them up.
Their debut literally has Rain's fingerprints all over it. A music clone of Rain himself from the Engrish-speak (think "Fresh Woman") in the beginning to the electronic wave that's über prominent in Rain's "My Way". The dancing in the video's real slick too. And I bet they're draped from head to toe in 6to5 gear. Plus their singing's way better than even *gasp* BEAST. Yes, MBLAQ has the upper hand here with precision high notes and a dreamy ballad that is "My Dream" to prove it. Their lead vocalist, G.O does however spot a fiendish goatee that makes him 10 yrs older than even the oldest member of 22 years. Oh well, facial hair may just be what differentiates them from other "boy" bands.On second thought, someone hand me something to shoot their stylist down. Is that glam eye-liner? Source.
- B2ST or BEAST (ooh Beast...) people must be having a hard time trying to pronounce the "2" in B2ST. Label: Cube Entertainment. Sounds like the male version of 4minute. No surprises there but it looks like with ravenous fangirls just waiting for some male meat, BEAST may easily surpass their sunbaes 4minute. They do seem like Big Bang's rival much like 4minute is to 2NE1. Take note though, BB already has an army of loyal fans who may not think so. I'd say, so forth and show us what a BEAST you guys are ! Besides, notice the vast and obvious difference between the 2 debutantes: black vs white, ying and yang, day and night. I could go on and on and on. Source.
- Child of Empire under Star Empire Entertainment and debuts in Nov. Not much info on them yet except a promo pic that makes them look suspiciously like a Super Junior thing. Child of Empire has 9 members though. So male SNSD ? hehe. We've got to wait and see. Source.

- RUN (who debuted under the name E-bul in a band called OPPA for (Onni Potenza Per Avanzare) [I know abbrevations AGAIN right?) Source.
