Max called me a few minutes ago and started telling me about how basically everyone in the band tried to make him make a choice that he didn't want to and now he's out. It's so fucked up that they put all the responsibility on him as if it was his choice to be the 2nd guitarist in the band (long story, they wanted him to play bass or leave). Just

putting your friends before your boyfriend isn't taking advantage of having them or throwing it away. and once you realize that you've put a boy in front of friends, you never forgive yourself and you have a much harder time getting by than if you just didn't have a boyfriend to begin with. i'll always be a firm believer that friends are more important no matter how emotionally close a boyfriend is, because a relationship is based on first impressions mostly and physical attraction and that "spark" or whatever people claim. and that fades.. maybe not with the person you marry, maybe only with a high school boyfriend but in any situation it's always a possibility. but you don't worry that if you show up at your friends door looking like a mess and being a bitch that they'll take that one moment and hold it against you and ditch you. this is kind of a rant & i don't disagree with you at all, i'm procrastinating & felt like writing this. and when i say "you" i don't mean YOU, i mean any person.

i was just about to say all this, and i completley agree..take it from people who have been in a relationship. i know what you mean about it being nice that you have each other to talk to and be like best friends and shit cause i had that too and still do but..don't forget your friends, they should still be number one along with your family. i know you're gonna get mad at us for saying all this buut i really don't want to see you get hurt, just keep that in mind.

Well you obviously know I'm not one of those people that's like zomgz my boyfriend is mah life he'll be there forevelrje.rr.rr. Cause I know that friends are more important and that relationships end, but I feel like there should be more of a balance than a lot of people have. Like I feel like this is the first time that I could actually be there for Max emotionally in a while and I felt like I was missing out on that with him for a while. I wasn't trying to say put friends last, just that being in a relationship shouldn't just be like..oh we like hanging out you're cute i'm happy. There should be more of a connection and shit that you have with your friends. Like emotionally and stuff and me and Max were lacking that for a while.
