i'm over athens in so many ways. no one will ever understand.

i should be in dayton right now. my friend sara lost her husband today. he was stationed in iraq and his hummer got hit. they have a week old baby. life just doesn't seem fair somedays.

i just want to go back and be with my friends and family and things that matter.

I'm over Athens, too. some days more than others, but probably not as much as your over it now. People here are so close minded and dont know what real life is. i've discovered that. a friend of our family (and my 5th grade teacher)'s daughter just got married to a guy, he got sent to iraq and died right around christmas last year. Now she's not even 28 and a widow. i started freaking out when i started dating bryan because hes in the reserves and on the news they were calling for more troops. honestly so anxious about it i was to tears one morning, even though the likelyhood of him going is not much.

It's so sad i can't even imagine what that must be like. if you want to talk or not be alone, let me know. and please, give her my condolences.

im sorry for you and your friends lost.
life isn't fair.. but don't forget that everything happens for a reason.. even if its not fair and not understandable in any way shape or form right now.

the fact that things happen for a reason is the only thing that has made me okay about the entire situation. too many things happened lately the way they do that you can't help but believe that there WAS a reason.
