I just touched down about an hr ago. The plan ride on Turkish airlines from SG to Istanbul was alright. The landing was so smooth that the passengers broke into an applause. Is this a common occurence or is it just the Turks? Anyway, I was rather lucky to have gotten a seat beside a nice turkish dude who works
