[ Mod Post ] >> The "What Will Become of My Characters" post of doom

Dec 07, 2007 14:37

Okay. I figure we're all curious what's going to happen to everyone's characters! With some of the countryposts (Agustria and Verdane) still missing, however, and with the number of players, it seems kind of counterproductive/spammy to have everyone make individual posts at this point. SO ( Read more... )

Alice Valmont (soon Alice Jungvy?) angeling December 7 2007, 17:59:25 UTC
Alice is getting married to Seth and having two more children, a boy and a girl. Liam is growing up into a fine young man, though he may very well have some ingrained issues/trauma from the time he spent at the Cult (not that he'd remember much of it).

She's not going back to Freege; if Seth is contrary to staying in Valhalla, she'd move elsewhere with him and the kids. She likes Valhalla though because of the Academy being readily available, and she puts a lot of importance on education. Expect all her kids to be highly educated.

She'd be a strict mother, and Seth is probably the one always trying to smoothen mom's strictness over. :') Strict as she may be, though, she's still a great mom - she'd just not tolerate sloth or disobedience.

Alice gives up on her Loputo Cult research in fear of retaliation from the surviving members - they know who she is and where she lives, and she's not very keen on the idea of them coming after her family, so!

Althaea Velthomer (...and soon Ivy Löwe :')) angeling December 7 2007, 18:03:32 UTC
Althaea Ivy is staying in Lenster. Her daughter will be born in February, and named Jade. Evan is going to pose as daddy, so it'll be Jade Löwe to boot. And he'll even treat her as his own daughter, awww.

Evan is starting to be all over the boobs that, so they'll hook up not very long after Jade is born. According to Shinn, Evan lives up to his zodiac sign, so they'll have at least one other child (who Shinn is playing). It's possible for them to have more, but nothing's certain yet.

She'll also stay as a teacher at Lenster Academy and actually manage to hide her identity (and her daughter's) for that long. SHE, HOWEVER, DOES NOT APPROVE OF CERTAIN FORMER PUPILS STARING AT HER DAUGHTER'S CHEST. Especially because certain former pupils are, by then, married. For shame.

Anna Nodion (or Anann) angeling December 7 2007, 18:15:20 UTC
After leaving here tonight~ with Mr. Lucan Nodion, she'll be pretty much wherever he is. She may or may not get her revenge on Sindri and Deimos - if she does, good, if she doesn't, that's fine too.

She's grown more fond of Lucan than she'd like, and so she wants to make sure he lives as long as possible, since she knows she'll live much longer and she remembers how much it sucks to have loved ones die on you.

And since Lucan is obviously also all over that, I do not doubt he will get some. Or lots. Probably lots.

Ellius (Elijah) Edda knightless December 7 2007, 18:25:20 UTC
For the remainder of his natural life, Elijah will continue to pose as Ellius/Elliot over in Edda. With the entrance of the Chalphy rule in Valhalla, however, Elijah is throwing full support behind Tyana's rule of Grandbell for fear of retaliation. In spite of what he says, he truly has his own interests at heart and, well, he'd prefer to be of the not-dead. This, of course, will cause general unrest in Edda and result in several attempts on his life (and, eventually, on his son's life, as well) somewhere down the line ( ... )

Charlotte and Dozel in general sarajayechan December 7 2007, 17:07:13 UTC
She'll be returning for the second gen.

Need to log this with Iris, but! She and Andrew will agree to go their separate ways even though she'll try like hell to convince him to run away together. So she'll mope for a bit, then eventually find a guy she clicks with. Marriage, two sons, etc. I'll be playing the youngest son.

On the non-marriage front! Chet's gonna die during the 20-year timeskip, sometime before Charlotte has her first child, and it's gonna be a bad death. Lots of emo and anger and Hunter taking over as Lord with Charlotte helping him out wherever she can. She'll have matured quiiiite a bit during the timeskip.

Tina will become hot and since I'm feeling quirky I'm thinking she'll turn out to be a lesbian. Either way she'll be hot and have a lot of love interests.

Virna will take a stronger hand in Dozel's political happenings.

Alec is gonna take a big part in Augstria's 'make the country more laguz-friendly' crusade, having been DEEPLY affected by Jeff and his family. Alec's own family will get in on things, too, especially Ellie who will become a real bleeding-heart as she gets older.

EDIT! Just decided Alec and Noishe join the military at some point.

Also that old lesbian lover of his mom's stays in the picture and continues to cause tension until Amy finally puts on her big-girl pants and gets over it...just before dying of illness. Ouch. :[

Livia Constantiniu sarajayechan December 7 2007, 17:20:00 UTC
The whole deal with Mitica will leave her unnerved like hell. She'll intend to throw herself into Darkwind Village business to keep her mind off it, but eventually someone'll convince her she DOES need to get married and fortify the Holsety line. So she'll marry; I want it to be a non-blooded noble dude, so probably a guy from one of the NPC territories? And they'll have lots of kids. But Livia will still be doing her healer thing, and keeping an eye on Darkwind. Also she'll be pregnant again at the start of the second gen, giving her second son something to bitch about other than the usual THIS WORLD IS CORRUPT AND YOU PEOPLE ARE TOO STUPID TO NOTICE >:[

Lilith innocentwild December 8 2007, 22:22:01 UTC
Efferus' disappearance hits Lilith hard, and she finds herself without a real purpose. She rejoins the regular military for a short while, but simply following orders is no longer enough for her to feel useful. She then tries traveling Verdane (and later a bit of Nodion), hoping to spread some of master Efferus' ideas about how Laguz and Beorc should work together. Although she's very enthusiastic about, she obviously won't manage to convince anyone older than her. Although younger kids love her stories!

Well, she eventually ends up living in her old village close to the border between Verdane and Nodion again. There, she'll live a quiet village life as a teacher of all things, teaching younger kids Basic and other things. Once trade between Verdane and Nodion really picks up, she'll also act as somewhat of a negotiator between Laguz and Beorc.

So after leaving behind the Ashtray library with a few burnt books, escaping Laguz and half-eaten and/or well-done scientists, Edward and Mona will keep on going. Going that way. To the East! And further to the East!

And eventually, they'll end up in whore-and-poverty country, in Luthecia to be exact. They'll open up a small clinic there, and since this IS whore-and-poverty country we're talking about, it'll do QUITE well. And the two of them will be doing well on the personal level too, since they'll have 3 cute hybrid kids (awwwwww) and they'll even get married.

They'll be a happy family of only slightly disturbing people :D (Although it's probably a good thing they're in Thracia). Things might be a little less pleasant when the Lenstern war effort reaches Luthecia, but as 2nd gen rolls in, the family won't have been too affected by it!

Klaus Lezard raisingcurtain December 11 2007, 07:51:04 UTC
For a while, Klaus continues to be an awkward student pupil errant boy for Ivy. The human contact thing at the academy will do him quite a bit of good though, and combined with some of those more social classes (and being around Ivy) he'll turn into a rather charming young man in a few years time. And since he'll be an extremely talented magic student (with both talent AND far more base knowledge than most the people his age) with a mysterious past, he won't have any trouble on the girlfriend department.

Well, life goes on, babies named after jewels are born, babysitting happens, graduation comes around, teaching positions are offered and taken at famous Academies, private tutoring happens, as do silly young girl promises... A pretty normal life, really.

Except for that time about 10 years from now when he reads through that one dark magic tome again and realises some of the principles in there could be used for other things than having creepy dark stuff eat away at your enemies' health. Specifically, human resurrection ( ... )

I mentioned this briefly in Silesia-post but here's some more details. Justin is, in fact, very upset with the whole Darkwind business and will be parting ways with the adventure kids after this to go to Silesia city. There he'll make money selling maps (probably after some tips from Myra?) until he's saved up some money, at which point he'll join the city police/military/whatever and start to work his way up through the ranks very quickly, being competent and all. Due to the sheer corruption he'll have to deal with, this will be a jading experience for him.

Two or three years prior to second generation beginning, he'll hand-pick a group of competent, less-corrupt people in order to help investigate the Darkwind Incident and find out just who was responsible for it. He'll pretty much be doing this in what spare time he has, and there won't be much to find after all that time, but he's not about to give up.

Ada will, of course, be sticking around Freege for the entire time. The role of diplomat will be a new one to her, but over the years she'll settle into the role and do quite well at it. When not off talking to people in far away places, she'll hang around Freege, doing whatever needs to be done and trying to help improve Laguz-Beorc relations. She should be pretty well-known as the local (friendly neighborhood) Dragon Laguz by the time the 20 year mark rolls around. No more hiding her identity after Laguz slavery is ended in Freege.

Arisha phlogistic December 8 2007, 02:47:55 UTC
Arisha will return to Jungvy for good in April, with Alek in tow. Her parents will be furious to learn about him and will probably make all sorts of threats in his direction. All objections will "magically" disappear when they decide to marry after a year or two and Arisha lets her parents know about the minor Holsety blood. Imagine that.

That out of the way, they'll be living in Jungvy until second gen. Arisha will put her education to work studying and possibly teaching magic, and doing a very good job of it at that. Their children, of which they'll have four by then, will take priority, though. She'll try to raise them to be smart and hard-working while still being nicer than her, with...mixed results. The oldest two, 16 by 2nd gen, will be fraternal twins and will be played by Shinn and me. The third is a slightly younger teenage boy and the fourth is a baby girl, only a year old in 20 years time.

If I've forgotten anything I'll leave it to Shinn, aren't I kind~
