[This is the fifth or sixth try she’s made at writing something]
It’s admirable that you’re so vocal no that you’ve shirked all responsibility Percy Sir Vordane.
Easy for you right now isn’t it? Because you Because you don’t even have to be here and you don’t have to understand not like you ever really tried to understand in the first place so why should your chance to be a coward change it at all

Oh, excuse me, my former Queen, I was merely following Thracian tradition of shirking responsibilities and then being vocal - though of course, being that no one ever had any responsibilities in the first place, perhaps I simply misunderstood the pattern.
Actually, now that I'm not there, I've found that I understand more clearly than ever before.
My chance to be a coward? I would call my chance to save the only thing in that country I could still save.
I know your country better than you, Your Highness, and if I can't save it, then you most certainly can't, either - perhaps the task is better left to someone more capable than the both of us?

"Whoever-the-fuck" is called Percival Vordane, and as the former strategist (also known as the person who had been trying to get the military in order for years) I do believe I know what I'm talking about better than you do, Miss Seren.
Send your brother my regards next you see him - if he's not in another menage-a-trois with the Queen and Lord Silvermane, that is.

This is Percival Vordane.
I'm leaving this country. The people are suffering, starving, and the Queen is keeping herself entertained with - let's just say she and a certain Lord Silvermane of Verdane have done more private discussing than anything.
You're better off leaving, yourself, kid. Being military in Thracia will never get you anywhere.

I would argue that wandering is better.
The mercenaries are the only people in Thracia with any chance of salvation - if only because they would quickly be hired by any place with the money to do it.
You know your country is sad when a strategist can get off with insulting the Queen. No one has attempted to defend her. Do I have more credit than she does, or is it just that easy to believe your rulers are fucked up?
...Sorry, I digress.
I'd start considering a place to go, if I were you. What do you think would happen if Lenster invaded tomorrow, kid?

Oh.
Word of advice: If you get an assistant for yourself, make sure it's an eunuch.

And I'll keep that in mind.
