(no subject)
So, I now have a $700 paperweight. It was formerly known as a Palm Pre.
Just out of the blue it went "Phone Offline". Rebooting it doesn't work. Turning on and then off airplane mode doesn't work. Partial erase doesn't work. Full erase doesn't work. Pulling out the battery doesn't work. I can't get this fucker to reset to factory settings. And now I'm getting "memory critical" messages.
I am not amused.

So after a disastrous first attempt, during which the clerk at Bell told me I had zero coverage whatsoever, I took my phone to a Bell store that does its own repairs. There I found out that I do, in fact, have complete coverage and the other guy was just a douche. A replacement has been ordered, but it's so backordered it could very well take up to two months to arrive.
I also ... have no loaner phone. Why? Because I do not have $400 to use as a deposit. FML.
