I'm at the quilt shop today, by myself for the whole day with a "Do whatever" note left by my boss.  :D  (I love my job!)  So I thought I probably should figure out what to make for my Witchy Workshop in October.  It's an all day workshop, 9 am to 4:30 pm, with a potluck & Halloween goodies.  I'm even gonna dress up in my Hogwarts robes. :D    My

Oooo! Trick or Treat bags sound great... but then I love practical things.

Thanks! I've been thinking of a simple & quick trick or treat bag. So if it only takes about an hour, I could have them make the bag & a small quilt too.

I would want to make a door banner for my front door. It's like a wall hanging but proportioned for a door and has a dowel thru the top with a cord to hang from one nail.

Oooh, that sounds like a great idea. It could be a door banner or a wall hanging. I could make the dowel & cord hanger optional in the instructions. Thanks!

I actually came up with an idea about an hour ago & am working on it in EQ7. It could work as a door banner or a wall hanging or a table runner. And it could be made into a larger wall hanging that would also work as a table topper.

I wish you could too! I'll post the pattern or make a tutorial as I'm making it. That way y'all can make it too if you want. :D

I think a wall hanging or table runner/flat centerpiece would be a fantastic Halloween project.

I have an awesome table runner project for you that was demoed at HB this week. I should have the instructions in a day or two, but it's easy, fast and perfect for a holiday project! It could also theoretically be a wall hanging...which is what I might try to do with it!

I'm still waiting for the lady that wrote up the tutorial to email it to me. If I don't have it by Wednesday, I might just grab a copy and scan it!
