It's been a while...
Hi all! I just thought I'd show you guys what I've been up to this past couple of months. I've been working on my Harry Potter movie costume. I wanted to go as someone recognizable & really wanted to go as Bellatrix. So I got my pattern & fabric & everything else I needed & started working on it. As I was working on it, I decided that I didn't wanna go as someone truely evil like Bellatrix so keeping the same costume but adding a few little accessories, I'm going as Hermione when she polyjuices into Bellatrix. I get to look like Bellatrix but I added Hermione's Beaded Bag & a time turner as well as Hermione's wand. So we'll see if anyone "gets" it. ;)
Here's my Bellatrix costume. I made everthing except for the boots which I found at a Halloween costuming store.
Here's her wand. I made it out of Fimo clay.
And here are the Hermione accessories. I made the bag, bought the wand for the last movie & found the time turner on etsy.
Plus I have these u shaped curlers that I can sleep in the night before & will give me Bellatrix curls. I also bought a dark mark tattoo off etsy to wear. I cannot wait!!!! Only a couple more days!
I also made a friend Moaning Myrtle robes.
And to wear on Friday, I made this shirt using my new serger. I just love it! (Both the shirt & serger.) I got the fabric off ebay years ago.
Plus, I'm getting ready to go to Pren's for the movie & we're gonna be decorating for a HP party before the movie. I don't leave until tomorrow afternoon but I guess I'm so excited I wanna be as prepared as I can.
