Huge thanks to mystkyten and sweet_lemmon for three fabulous pictures to accompany this. I love the happy ending pics you both did. Mystkyten, I just about swooned at the way they are staring into each other's eyes in yours. You really have captured my Charlie and Hermione and all the hope and promise that the story ends with. And Sweet Lemmon, yours is wonderfully sweet and romantic and so happy, that I love it too.
But the one picture that really made me squeal with glee was the book cover! Kathleen Pen is not my invention, she belongs to stmargarets, who generously lends her out, and I know she will adore seeing one of Kathleen's books. It's such a perfect romance cover image, with the half-naked dragon keeper and the bride who can't seem to keep her dress on either, and the roaring dragon in the background. I totally love it and I hope you'll give me permission to make some icons of it.
Thank you both so much for all the time and effort you put into these - I really appreciate it.

Hermione and Charlie were perfect in this. Charlie's ways of dealing with Fred's death, and his worry about his family's reaction to his absence, made so much sense. And I love how concerned Hermione was for those who were wandless and how hard she worked to help them. The moments between the two of them at the reserve, growing closer, were wonderful, and I was almost sad when it became time for them to go to the Burrow. I enjoyed this very much.

I love a good Charlie/Hermione, although this was really more of a friendship fic, wasn't it? I loved the little innuendos though. I like how Hermione seemed to surprise Charlie often - sometimes about those topics, sometimes just about who she was and how she was willing to understand him, not judge him. I liked it!
