apollinav: Wow, that's unique! It seems to have a 60s flair to it, and I wouldn't be surprised to see something like that on an album cover or post from the era. It really popped off the screen, and the colors were definitely pulling me in. :)
scifichick774: I'll be honest, I nearly skipped this because of Firenze, but I was drawn in within a couple of paragraphs. I was very intrigued by the potion effects and the concept of Hermione's destiny. A little confused as to whether Firenze (and by extension, the other centaurs) expected a human to be the recipient of this destiny or if the species revelation is going to be a big surprise to them all. But I'm glad I didn't skip this out! :)
It's not a pairing I would normally choose to write, I think, but since there was a centaur in the corner, I felt he needed to be included in the storyline somehow.
I'm sorry there were parts that were confusing. In an effort to clear that up: There are several different mythos concerning centaurs. I decided to go with the one where they're all male, and therefore need human females to bear their offspring. Because the HP books make a big deal out of centaurs being so into divination, I included the element that mates might be chosen by outside forces instead of by the centaurs themselves.
*hugs*
I'm glad you decided to move past your squick factor and give it a chance. I don't know if I'll be nearly as brave for some of the fics I've seen posted.
Eeeeeee! I have never seen a fic with this pairing, almost didn't read it but when I saw who the author was it was a done deal.
The art was not my usual cup of tea but the colors were very striking, I spent longer looking at it than any other piece of art I've seen for the BB so far. Well done.
I am thrilled that you have added a sequel(with neekid parts I hear?) to your to do list. Let me know is the muse needs bribing.;P
The muse is fine with no bribery right now, but she's feeling a bit swamped. This time of the year is always busy fic-wise, and with RL too... yeah.
How in the world did I get suckered into writing for so many things that are all due around the same time? I need to keep a calendar for my fics, apparently.

The art is wonderful. I love the way everything is woven together, especially her hair with the spirals.
The story is a perfect complement to the art. I love Hermione's snarky mental commentary. Destiny, indeed.
