After the week he'd already had, the last thing he needed was something more to add to his aggravation. Which was exactly what came knocking at his bedroom window, the little 'tap' 'tap' of bullshit he didn't want to deal with. The official looking owl, the letterhead- it all screamed Official Ministry Bullshit. But as his eyes scanned the handwriting, the familiar loops and curves of Hermione's handwriting came into focus.

"Bloody wretched woman-" he coughed, laughter tickling his throat.

He sat at his desk, pulling out the worn and old letterhead he'd received when he firs started in the Auror Department.

Miss Granger,

For a young woman such as yourself to consider Divination as "woolly," I have a hard time believing that you would hold me accountable for not being able to see the future in which you return to my life to annoy the bloody hell out of me.

You can be certain that if I did, I already would have fled the country.

Do hope your return trip was nice, however.

Best regards,
Mister Harry J. Potter

Mister Potter,
If one's head wasn't so fully shoved up one's bum, then perhaps he would have taken one moment out of his exceedingly busy schedule to check in on his other best friend. You would do to remember that the world doesn't revolve around you and Ron him. Other people do exist and they do hope that you, without being a seer, could sort that one out!

She put down her quill and took a deep breath. While being agitated at Harry was one of her favorite things to be, there was always time to be mad at him in person, which was much more satisfying.

I recommend fleeing the country, on that note. It's quite nice out there. Lots of fresh air, new places.. people to snog...

Yours,
Hermione

Miss Granger,

I would like to remind you of the incredibly difficult times we have found ourselves in once again- you know, what with murders popping up all over London. It's been very distracting.

I also have no idea who you might be referring to as my dear flatmate has taken to sleeping in his office though I believe that's because Skylar is a bit loud in bed these past few weeks.

What I'm really saying is that the coast is clear and that if you'd like to finish with this lecture, you ought to swing by and do it in person.

Especially so you can tell me about all these foreign blokes you've been attacking.

Sincerely,
H.J. Potter

Hermione's eyes narrowed, apparently attempting to burn a hole in Harry's most recent letter. Oh, of course he thinks the investigation is his complete responsibility, and yet has enough time to find himself in yet another romantic entanglement... if Lavender's word was correct.

As irritated as she might be with Harry, she also had to take ownership of not reaching out to him either. And being back home just didn't feel right without, at least, Harry in her life.

She responded with a quick hand:
Offer accepted. Though I might arrive ahead of the owl.

Hermione sighed and started bundling herself up. No matter if she and Harry were clashing at the moment, she sort of needed him. And by the sounds of things, he needed some good, sound advance.

Within moments she was turning on her heel and landing in a secluded area just around the corner of Harry's building. After taking a moment to make sure everything, and all of her, had arrived, she made her way to his door, knocking loudly.
