I felt at home when I went around Scotland. Of course, why shouldn’t I? For Scotland is my home. But I’m a Lowlander; raised and brought up on the Solway plain. That’s south of Glasgow, ken? You'll get time enough, don't worry. Wouldn't be much point coming over if you were going to spend the whole time indoors or looking at computer screens, eh? ;-) You'll love seeing them again.

I'm not sure it's not old blood though; I have only one highlander in my past three generations! I reckon it's the peace in the Highlands, the ready access to open air, hills and water. It's got something to do with the small, vibrant communities.

We've all been philosophical on Sauchiehall. One couldn't survive there otherwise, surely! Or are you asking, have we been philosophical together on Sauchihall, because, for the life of me, I can't remember...

I think as close as we got (re: the 'real' Sauchiehall, anyway) was some rambling at Buchanan Station after way too many hours on a bus. Something about breakfast or sleep, most likely.

We miss you also. azramo is off to Falkirk tomorrow so it's all change in our wee corner of Aberdeen. Of course, you are still strongly encouraged to visit.
