yeah, it was so random. i was in soho, and the godforsaken F train was running on the A line, so i got off at an unfamilar stop. i stopped him and was halfway through asking him if he knew which direction prince street was when i realized who i was asking. he was looking at me like "why are you talking to me" but he told me, anyway, and i said thank you and hurried off. and then called joaquin as soon as he was out of earshot to spaz out, slightly.

he was walking down the street with a woman on a cell phone and a baby carriage. and he looked really scruffy. even scruffier than in this picture. and his beard has way more white hair. he's looking pretty old.
