so i came home from school, relaxed a little, and then started on my homework. the phone rang. it was my mom. she asked me how my day was and i said it was fine. she told me she had class tonight and that she would be home around 8:30. she also told me she was offered the job she had just interviewed for at the university of pennslyvania

I think it's a decision of what would hurt more. Personally, I think for me izt would be easier to find new friends than to miss my mother all the time, but thatd epends on how close you and your friends are. It's a tough one, no doubt about that.

Oh no, hope I'm not too late but if I were you, I'd go to Philadelphia!
The way I see it, I think seeing your mom two weekends every month is very very very tough, especially since you say you're so close to her.
Anyway, you know, friends are there for you but really, family, they're there forever. Plus, your mom's got a new job, right? So she probably needs your support to go through it too .:)
