We don't know what is going to happen, but if the Entropi do come to our worlds, we will know how to fight them, if we're able to survive all of this.

I hope so. All we have to work with now is trial and error... and hopefully people will be able to handle more than one at a time, unlike the last attack we had to deal with.

Hey, I just had an idea. Maybe the Gem Beasts and I can be something like...reconaissance. Hardly anyone else can see them but a few of us, so if necessary, they could go look at things and come tell you or me or someone who can see them. It might help to give a bit of extra warning.

If you want... though what if the Entropi can sense them? And I'm not sure I want to find out whether they can get hit by that lightning or not... it doesn't seem to be just normal lightning, after all.

...If I go back where I started... my friends will still be dead, I'd still be stuck in the Dark World, and the timeline would just be royally screwed up in every way in that situation. At least if I can skip ahead past that, I won't need to worry about fixing things that should've already been fixed by the fusion. Or maybe it'll be something totally different, for better or for worse. I just... don't know if I want to know the answer, even though I'll have to find out eventually.

...That makes no sense, though. That would be the same thing as basically shrugging it off and saying it's not your problem to take care of, and therefore dropping the weight suddenly onto someone else's back.

And it is everyone's problem, because if that's the case, then everyone's world is threatened, so it doesn't just fall upon the shoulders of one person.

...So you don't think it would be better to have multiple worlds full of billions of people, warned and prepared and ready for the Entropi before they even get there, than a ragtag gang of a hundred or so unwilling prisoners, many of whom are not fit for combat against such an enemy?

I would rather stop the problem early before it progresses to an unmanageable place... though I kinda wish there were a way to do both at the same time. Warn people and fight them, I mean, without having to actually go back to our worlds physically and let everyone know.

I'm just a little tense. This is really going to be a huge tipping point, like the first instant in a tug-of-war game in which the game could go either way, or a clear advantage will become apparent within the first few moments.

Hopefully we'll have improved enough so that it's not just us biding time until we fall.

...I don't plan on fleeing, though. I'll defend everyone as best I can. You're included in that "everyone", too.

And what exactly would make you going back to your own world a bad thing? As far as I can tell, as long as your world has you, it's got little to worry about.

Speaking of that... do you think there's anything I can do to help you with that before we go home? Your Juudai sounds like he needs a good kick in the ass to get him going again, and I have to wonder if there's anything I can do in that area.

And while my world may be in bad shape, and while you have no idea how much I would love to see you come and literally give my world's version of you a good kick in the ass, I'd rather only ask for your help if I'm sure there's no other way.
