Wing-fic? Whatsit?
To quote the wingfic community: wingfic is crackfic with an emphasis on wings, and its cousin metamorphosis. There's really no rule to it. Either you get it, or you don't.
Or, to quote way2busymom: wingfic is crackfic where one or more of the characters has wings. I'd add: and they usually don't. Viz, it's not wingfic probably to write about X-men's Archangel, unless you're writing him opposite Scott Summers and giving Scott wings too.
So, the challenge is: give 'em wings. Big, small, crow, angel, eagle, butterfly, you name it. Any Heroes character or characters, or more than one. Go wild and set 'em free.
